This just in: we’ll be seeing a lot more of the People’s Eyebrow when Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson returns for Season Four of Ballers. Season 3 is currently airing in the States, and Seasons 1 and 2 are ready to go on Showmax Watch now ».

To our horror, though, it seems that many people are unaware of the origin of the People’s Eyebrow, which in some parts of the world is tantamount to treason.

It’s our duty to make sure that you, our beloved binge-watcher, are not left in the dark when it comes to any detail of our favourite characters. And if you’re a fan of Dwayne Johnson, this is something you have to know.

The People’s Champion

Very few WWE wrestlers cement their place in the over-dramatised history of the sport. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson however, is an absolute legend of the game.

Each wrestler has their signature move that’s always delivered at the most intense point of the fight. For The Rock, this was the People’s Elbow, which involved him bounding back and forth in the ring several times before elbow-dropping his opponent to dust. But before he delivered the Peoples’ Elbow, The Rock would flash the People’s Eyebrow – and the crowd would go into a frenzy.

Low and behold, mortal, “the most electrifying move in sports entertainment”, a glorious People’s Elbow compilation that should be included in the school curriculum. (Keep an eye out for the People’s Eyebrow.)
