16 new series on Showmax in May 2019

Seven of these series have never been seen anywhere in Africa before, including two – the reboot of Charmed, and HBO’s eagerly anticipated period drama Gentleman Jack – that arrive on Showmax at the same time as they air on DStv, with new episodes every week. There are also fresh seasons of familiar favourites, from 2 Dope Queens to Casual, some Shonda Rhimes goodness in The Catch, three very bingeable seasons of Survivor and the critically acclaimed full season of Ben Stiller’s Escape at Dannemora.
